Background

For this school project, students were required to research and emulate a design style of choice. I chose to focus on the illustrative aspect of Late Modern design.

Having rediscovered my love for Lego as an adult, I thought it would be fun to create a poster which targets the largely untapped adult market.

Target

• Young adults, 22-35, college-educated, childless
• Have the disposable income to dedicate to highly prioritized desire for recreation
• Interests trend towards the nerdy

Concept

Forget Work. Play.

I wanted to show typical adult workplace objects interacting with Lego to demonstrate its ability to transition an adult’s mindset from serious work to fun play.
